Night Elves 2 : Dangerous Obsession

Eristta wanted him, has always wanted him ever since she can remember. She is a Night Elf and he is a terran warrior. He has been coming to her world since the winter before her birth. But now was her chance to finally be with him. After watching him bathe, she approaches him, only to flee after hearing him chant a protecting spell from her. Now with her world in jeopardy, she will work with him in order to save it. She knows that both him and her brother have been sending her to the others for help to keep her out of harms way, but she isn't going to stand for that. When Eristta finds them and tells them she is going to the Faerie Realm to talk to Ferra'leen, Red Claw says he'll go with her.

Red Claw wanted her with his whole being, but his vision has kept him from acting on it. He's a powerful shaman, but he knows he can't keep his love safe if they act on their love and it's getting harder not to with them working so close together. After following her to the Faerie Realm and hearing what Ferra'leen had to say about the prophecy and that she had to achieve her heart's desire, he finally shows her why they can't be together. But will she heed his vision, and find her hearts desire? Or will her world be destroyed? You'll find the answers and more in this story.

Ms. Donovan has written a story that gets you so involved in this fantasy world the real world slips away without you noticing it. That to me is what makes a great read. You can't get away from it, nor do you want to. Reading this story was like coming home after a long absence. I didn't want it to end; now I have to wait impatiently for the next book. There isn't one scene that was better than any others, they all hold you spellbound. When the dragon breathes fire you can smell it, when Eristta and Red Claw come together for the first time, you're right there with them feeling the heat, desire, and magic all around you. This author has been put on my auto buy list.
