Celeste Anwar’s description of “part tortured poet, part bad ass biker--all succulent man” is an excellent depiction of the powerful hero of Carnal Thirst Danior has honor, having ledged himself to the Council, to uphold their laws before all else. Maggie is a full-figured woman, running out for ice cream and having her life forever altered by the whims of fate. Ms. Anwar showcases their sensual cravings of one another in sizzling scenarios, pulls us into their midnight world of passion, and allows us to be voyeurs in their sexual encompassing explorations as they find their hearts beating as one, forever linked. Ms. Anwar’s books continue to delight and entice…as well they should. She is the consummate weaver of tales of the dark souls and their found loves.
