Code Name: Princess
Code Name: Princess is a follow up story to Christina Skye's Code Name: Nanny, released earlier this year. The Navy Seals are back and the Seal in this story will leave readers breathless.
Hawk MacKenzie is hot on the trail of someone who took something his government desperately wants back. When he stumbles upon a naked woman in his shower, Hawk is certain she's one of the bad guys. After first knocking out and then securing his "prisoner", Hawk is later mystified to discover her missing.
Jess knows that her job as a hotel inspector can sometimes have dangerous repercussions for her, but never has she been knocked unconscious and secured to a bed before. Jess is thinking that it's really time for her to find a new line of work. When she escapes and later hits the same man with her car, her current job become almost more than she can stand and she gives serious consideration to finding a new line of work.
Hawk is desperately trying to complete his mission and he needs to ditch Jess in order to do that. Jess has a sister that is a FBI agent, so she can sense that like her Hawk is definitely on the job. Jess doesn’t want any trouble, she just wants to finish her inspection and be on her way. When they're trapped in an elevator together, Hawk learns more about Jess than he ever wanted too. He finds himself feeling protective over a woman he just met, he find himself wanting her more than he's ever wanted anyone and when Jess responds to his touch, when she appears to "need" him, all bets are off.
Code Name: Princess is a provocative little story with a massive impact. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, as there is no lack of adventure, suspense and romance. Ms. Skye writes with such vivid descriptions and intensity that readers are compelled to respond. The feelings between Hawk and Jess are so palpable this couple seems to burn right off the page. I read Code Name: Princess on the edge of my seat, just waiting for what was going to happen next. I was drawn to this book because of the realistic portrayal of two people, neither wanting to be hurt but also not being able to stay away from each other. I love that Christina Skye wastes no words in her stories. Everything written has a purpose, making her stories that much more enjoyable. Code Name: Princess is an awesome book and Christina Skye is a thrill to read. 5 Angels!
