Strength in <Br>Numbers 2:<br> Danger in <br>Discovery

David Campbell is a high-powered lawyer who has always denied his inner nature. When he was in college, he fell in love twice – first with Joy, the woman he wanted to marry, and then with Jason, his male roommate. Due to family pressure, he broke up with both Joy and Jason, and has not seen them for nearly 30 years. However, they have come back into his life due to the efforts he made to break up his son and his son’s male and female partners. When his past was revealed, David gave up his efforts to separate the three, and now he enjoys being a grandfather to their children.

Now successful professionals, Joy and Jason have come back into his life. In fact, Joy and Jason are in love with each other, and want David to come back to both of them. They have invited him to complete their triad, but David is afraid of what his friends and clients will say. Is David ready to accept his dual desires?

This novella is a sequel to Rachel Bo’s Strength in Numbers 1: Double Jeopardy, the story of David Campbell’s son. I really liked this book. It depicted real people with real problems that are not easily solved by superficial methods. The characters had to look within their hearts and find out why they behaved as they did. I was pleased to see people in their 50s as protagonists, which is quite unusual in erotica – apparently, many think that people over 50 don’t have sex! The writing is very touching, and the reader feels the emotions running through each situation. The pacing was quite good with one exception -- I felt the ending was a bit abrupt. This erotic novella contains very explicit ménage à trois sex scenes, male/female/male and male/male sex, also oral and anal sex, and the use of sex toys. There is no bondage nor discipline here, just a loving triad.
