Making Waves by Donna Kauffman

Burke Morgan cannot believe he is finally about to venture into his own charter business, but at the last minute his best friend and chef has to cancel on him. His friend would never leave him high and dry though so he offers to have his granddaughter take over his duties to help Burke out. Having never met his friend’s family before, Burke expects everything but the immediate attraction her will feel for Kamala.

This is one hot story. Kamala and Burke will start “making waves” from the moment they first see each other. The heat and the attraction will vibrate off the pages. Ms. Kauffman will make you want to learn all about boats before this story is through, especially the netting.

Let It Snow by Nancy Warren

Marisa Langley dressed for the camera as usual, but this is one night she wished she hadn’t. As a weather reporter she goes up on the roof of her office building in the mist of a blizzard to do her nightly forecast. Then the unexpected happens and there is a blackout. Now she is locked on the roof with the one man who hates her, her cameraman Rob Sheridon, but things aren’t always as they seem. After all, it isn’t the fire they build that will keep these two characters hot.

Nancy Warren does an excellent job with these two characters. Marisa and Rob are two completely different people with very different personalities. Yet the attraction between them is very believable and makes you hope for your own blackout.

You, Actually by Erin McCarthy

Josh Black has been in love with Cassidy St. George since the day she moved in with her grandmother. Cassidy has also always had the same feelings for Josh, but the two have never been able to express their feelings. Now Cassidy believes this is her last Christmas with Josh and she will do whatever she can to make him stay with her.

This story is one of the best in this anthology. It is a very lighthearted, humorous and passionate read. Ms. McCarthy has created two characters you will want to remember. Watching these two people come together will put anyone in the Christmas spirit!

Undercover Claus by MaryJanice Davidson

Corinne Bullwinkle is undercover as a Santa Claus taking donations on a street corner of New York City. Her assignment is to catch a purse-snatcher who has been taunting the police department. While working she does not expect to be “rescued” by one gorgeous man with a to die for English Accent. Grant Daniels cannot help but worry about the Santa and thieves who might try and hurt her, but what he doesn’t know is she is a cop and perfectly capable of taking care of herself.

This is a very charming and humorous story. Grant and Corinne are too very steamy characters who will heat up the pages. Each has their own secret but it is the passion that will bring them together. Ms. Davidson has written another must read.

Silver Bella by Lucy Monroe

Bella Jackson is a model with an ex out to damage her career. He has stated to the papers that she is a frigid, cold ice queen. Normally Bella would ignore what the papers say, but since she is the face of a sensual line of clothing her job may be on the line. Walking down the runway one night, she will soon find herself in a heated frenzy all due to a man she has never met. Jake Barton has seen the most beautiful woman on the runway and now he is out to seduce her. Can he get the Ice Queen to melt in his arms?

Bella and Jake are two wonderful characters. Readers cannot help but cheer for Jake as he sets out to seduce Bella. These two are definitely perfect for each other. Ms. Monroe knows how to create one very sensual story.

Snow Day by Susanna Carr

Tyler Stevens is back in town and this time he is here to claim the one woman he has dreamed of since he left. As Tyler, Karen and a group of friends get together for a reunion of sorts, he must find a way to stop her from consummating her relationship with another man. When the group is snowed in, he may just get his chance as Karen finds herself in Tyler’s bed by accident for the second time in her life. This time will not be the same as the last.

This story is a wonderful addition to the anthology. Karen and Tyler will leave readers wanting more. They are that memorable. Ms. Carr does an excellent job creating a story that is very believable, yet humorous at the same time. After all how can any woman climb into the same wrong man’s bed twice in a lifetime!

Christmas is around the corner, and this is one anthology you won’t want to miss. Run don’t walk to the bookstore nearest you and buy Merry Christmas, Baby!
