In Her Ladyship\'s Service- Tarot: 9 of Cups

Lieutenant Jace was in trouble. He went to Earth to retrieve Jelise, a re-born Kegan who has been matched to Prince Michael. This doesn't stop Jace from fantasizing about her, wanting her. He had been entranced by her for two years. He'd trained to win the right to bring her to Kegin, he'd diligently studied English so he could speak to her. Now he must relinquish all claims on her attention, for it is treason to look or think upon the Prince's match.

Jelise's first thought of Jace was danger. Her second thought was yummy. She had always had a weakness for strong men. Jace was broodily handsome, skilled and strong. She was going to have a hard time staying away from him. Her third thought is that he's insane. It does not go over well when Jace explains to Jalise that she is a Keen child. Even her anger at Jace's kidnapping her from Earth cannot override the intense response her body has when he's near.

By Kegin law, Jelise is not considered an adult until her 20th birthday. That gives her two months to adjust to life on Kegan, learn a little of the culture and figure out how to make Jace hers.

This is another story from Brenna Lyons' ever-popular Kegin series. This story stands alone; Ms. Lyons does a great job summing up any pertinent information from the previous series. There is even a Keen to English dictionary at the end of the book and an explanation of Keen time as it relates to Earth. The foreign words and situations are a bit confusing, but do not detract from the story. In Her Ladyship's Service is a sexy, fun read. Jelise is sassy and opinionated (typical woman). Jace is gorgeous and sexy. This reviewer gives In Her Ladyship's Service a four angel rating.
