Weather Balloons Make Rotten Sex Toys
Beginning with the disappearance of dear Uncle Henry and the subsequent cleaning house, the discovery of some very racy 'alternate lifestyle' material launches Ms. du Fouet on a journey to discover and explain the darker side of sex.
Weather Balloons Make Rotten Sex Toys is a comprehensive break down of what is considered kinky. Annabelle du Fouet is taking the world of kink out of the closet. In an effort to perform an ethnographic study (for purely scientific reasons of course), she infiltrates the underground world of kink as dominatrix Mistress Dominique and the results of her findings will have you rolling in the aisles.
This mousy research assistant is sure that she has grasped the concept of kink enough to become close to her clients, to get their 'take' on kink. The misadventures of Mistress Dominique are legendary within the kink community. Beginning with Kink 101 and traversing through Kink In History, Toys, Role-playing, Fetishes, how to find those who share your kink and everything in between, with handy explanations of frequently used words.
Ms. Du Fouet's mixture of humor and hard truths, while attempting to explain what most people see as taboo, makes for a mostly hilarious, sometimes uncomfortable but definitely original read. This work takes an in-depth look into what some consider the dregs of society. This noir novel gently pokes fun at small minds who condemn others' preferences out of hand. However, there are no sexual encounters in this book. Everything is done for *ahem* purely scientific purposes. This book is set up to read like a cross between a term paper and an interview, however it is peppered with Ms. du Fouet's wit as seen through the eyes of this oh so innocent author.
I give this hilarious novel a FOUR ANGEL rating. Warning: This book will have you laughing out loud, so prepare for the funny looks others will give you. This book is also adult in nature, even delivered with humor, these are not topics for anyone under 18.
