Racing Hearts takes us into the fascinating world of NASCAR racing. It’s the story of Cassandra Jamison and Justin Steed.

Cass is hired by Lovely Cosmetics and is trying to become one of the first women to race with the big boys. She’s dreamed of this from the time she was old enough to walk but had to give up the possibility when her parents were killed unexpectedly. Left with the responsibility of a younger sister to raise she stepped off the circuit and concentrated on keeping her family together. Now with her baby sister off to college Cass feels the call of the track once again and is glad to accept Lovely’s offer to run the NASCAR circuit.

There’s only one problem…and his name is Justin Steed, her new trainer. From the start the two can’t stand each other, nor can they deny the passion that blazes as hot and fast as any stock car running full out.

Justin Steed is a former champion that nearly lost his life doing what he loved. Slamming into a wall at 180mph took everything from his life and left him broken in more ways than one. Off the circuit and nearly broke, he jumps at the chance to become the trainer for the new Team Lovely despite his reservations about a female’s ability to run with the Big Boys of NASCAR. That is until he meets Cass for the first time. Once his smoky brown eyes lock with her icy blues he looses the battle and can’t deny Cassandra anything she wants…even his heart and soul.

Rae Monet has done it again! Her talent with words and her ability to draw the reader into the world of her creation is fantastic as always. From page one Racing Hearts will take you on a 200mph ride from Daytona to Darlington and never let you go. Her skill at writing a roller coaster ride of emotions entrances the reader from beginning to end.

This work lives up to its name and will leave you breathless with the need to finish it in a single sitting. From the cover to the last page, Rae easily keeps the readers attention with action, drama, fast paced dialogue and more than enough hot and steamy moments between the sheets. Her mastery of the behind the scenes world of NASCAR is amazing and a credit to the sport itself.

Racing Hearts is a definite must read and I am more than glad to certify it with 5 glowing Angels from this Reviewer.
