After years of racing, Cassandra Jamison finally gets her big chance to race with the big boys in the Nextel Cup Series. Her new sponsor chooses the best of the best, former driver, Justin Steed to help train her. Justin was once a champion of the series before a disastrous accident ended his career early.

Right from the beginning the sparks fly between these two dynamic personalities. Both stubborn to a fault, they argue over everything, especially Cass’s driving style. Yet even while arguing, neither one of them can deny the attraction that has developed between the two of them.

Justin finds that he has to fight old ghosts from his own accident every time Cass gets behind the wheel. Cass finds herself fighting an old nemesis of Justin’s on the track and fighting her attraction to Justin off the track since their team sponsor, Lovely Cosmetics, does not want the world to know that their beautiful new spokesperson is unavailable. Will they be able to put aside professional obligations to let love win this race?

As a huge racing fan, I just loved Ms. Monet’s book. The love scenes were as hot as the racecars and my heart was beating as fast as the engines. With well-researched details of the racing world, it felt like I was part of the action. Cass’s strength and courage in a male dominated world had me cheering her on. And Justin’s concern for his new protégé touched me. I recommended this book for anyone who loves the world of high-speed racing or for anyone who just enjoys passionate love scenes and strong people who fall in love.
