Dirty Pictures

Lily has been in lust with her new neighbor, Evan Acardi, ever since he moved to Tranquility, New Hampshire two months ago. She watches him every morning as he stretches for his run and can’t help drooling over his fine physique, even going so far as to nickname him Mr. Fine Ass. Too bad simple lust wasn’t the only thing on Lily’s mind though. Ever since she posed nude for Seduced magazine, her life hasn’t exactly been pleasant. Her family is mad at her, the town is either leering at her or avoiding her, and just when she thought things couldn’t get worse, Evan comes over, asking her to autograph his copy of Seduced.

Evan is getting over a bad divorce. His ex-wife and best friend were together behind his back, making him very cynical about all matters of love. He doesn’t want love, but boy oh boy, does he miss sex. He’s been attracted to Lily since he moved to Tranquility, but he didn’t think she was the type of woman interested in a no strings attached affair… until he saw her nude picture in Seduced. Now he’s determined to prove to her that lust is the best glue to hold together any relationship. Unfortunately, as Lily and Evan grow closer, he starts developing feelings for her that are above and beyond lust… he starts to love her, something he had sworn never to do again. Will he be able to stop these feelings before they get out of hand or has Evan discovered that sometimes a second chance at love is way better than the first?

This was an amazing story. From the setting, the gossiping characters of Tranquility, to the secondary characters, Lily’s friends and flighty mother, Dirty Pictures had it all. Lily and Evan had wonderful chemistry together and their love scenes scorched the pages, but it was the times they spent together, the driving lessons and the cooking lessons and all the times in between that really made me come to like them as characters. Elisa Adams did a great job of combining small-town nosiness and erotic lovemaking to create an intriguing story that makes you want to fall in love all over again.
