Rafferty Jones is a pirate. Orphaned at a young age, she learned to survive by stealing and fell in with a bad crowd. After killing a man in self-defense, Rafferty is wanted for piracy and murder.

Merrick Cole is the man sent to capture Rafferty. She is unlike anything he expected. Clever, cunning, beautiful and deadly, she has earned herself the nickname the Pirate's Jewel. After Merrick captures Rafferty, he begins to feel a strong physical attraction to her. He is more than willing to indulge her sexual desires but will he do his duty and turn her over to be hanged for her crimes?

The Pirate's Jewel was a thoroughly entertaining read. I love pirates and Rafferty was an especially great one. I admired her courage and her strength as well as her take charge attitude. I appreciated Merrick's strength and his ability to handle Rafferty even though she was a firebrand. The chemistry between them was undeniable and the sex was blazing hot. I will remember Rafferty's and Merrick's adventures for a long time to come.

Anyone who craves a swashbuckling pirate adventure will not want to miss Sable Grey's The Pirate's Jewel.
