Rainbow’s Desire

Kate Raselbury is the governess to titled young ladies. While searching for a ball her charges have lost, Kate finds a pot of gold. She realizes this is her way out of servant hood. The owner of the pot is not so agreeable to her keeping the pot. Kate can not let Declan, who claims to be a leprechaun, take the pot of gold – she desperately needs it. Declan and she strike a bargain, Kate will exchange the gold for sexual pleasures. This seems to be a good idea at the time, only the more she is with Declan the more she wants to keep him forever.

Declan never thought anyone would find his pot of gold, and he certainly did not believe he would not be able to charm a woman into returning it to him. Kate Raselbury is one stubborn lass. She is also very tempting. He will have to keep his wits abut him if he wants his gold back. When Kate accepts his bargain of exchanging gold for sexual pleasures, he is sure he will reclaim his gold quickly. Little does he know, she is quite the business woman. Declan has to get the gold back quickly.

This is a wonderfully humorous story. Ms. Shawler has created truly memorable characters. The banter between Kate and Declan is terrific; you are never quite sure who is in control. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts and seems to burn hotter each time they are together. I really enjoyed that Kate was very forward thinking and was looking for a way to take care of herself.
