Fugitive Lovers

An act of conscience will be the impetus that alters two would-be enemies’ perceptions but will it come too late to save them?

Raven Armistead has given everything to support her father’s dreams of Auric/Human equality. As she runs down the stairs of the Inter-Continental Police building, she knows that her actions will make him proud as well as buy time for the Auric Rights League. However, when an alarm is activated, she can’t force herself to leave an unsuspecting person, even a depraved ICP agent, at risk. As she turns back, she changes the course of her life forever.

Val Tarrant owes his life to an Auric. That fact is astounding and as he hunts her down for sabotage, he begins to question what he really knows about Aurics. Aurics are supposed to be evil, a test for humanity that must be eradicated. When he agrees to meet her secretly, they are betrayed and left for dead. As he tries to hold on to his honor and duty, he must confront the knowledge that something deadly is brewing. Can he convince Raven that he is not the enemy long enough to stop the events going on around them?
