The Order of The Dragon

For centuries the Order of The Dragon vampire clan has been feeding on animal blood. Now the council wants to conduct an experiment – they want to find a human they can feed on and eliminate with being hunted once the experiment was complete. The powers that be choose Mikhail to conduct the test because of his vampire youthfulness and his level-headiness within the group. Mikhail is enraged; yet he has no choice in the matter. Reluctantly Mikhail tackles his task at hand only to find himself instantly attracted to his supposed target, Lauryn. Now, what is Mikhail to do – complete his mission and destroy the only woman he loves or protect Lauryn from The Order?

I found The Order of The Dragon to be a thrilling, fast-paced story that I sincerely enjoyed reading. Just when I thought I had figured out the plot, Ms. Lunaris tossed in an amazing twister that threw me for a loop and had me holding my breath. I felt Mikhail’s dilemma as he struggled with his newly found desires for Lauryn, all while trying to remain true to The Order. Lauryn, on the other hand, has a few surprises up her sleeve – I will not say too much for fear of giving up a spoiler; but, I will say, Readers, you are in for a shocker! The chemistry between Mikhail and Lauryn is dynamic, intense and very passionate - you will not be disappointed in this department.

Ms. Lunaris ends this short story with a great cliffhanger that marks the makings of great series. I look forward to the next installment.
