Perfect Timing

Rachel leads an average life; she is a Children’s Librarian, has a cat full of personality, and does many wonderful things for other people. On what should have been an ordinary day at work, she is approached by a customer who is surely the most beautiful man she has ever laid eyes on. When he tells her that he is there to observe her for his research project, she is left confused and uncertain of him. Slowly but surely, she is convinced that he is truly what he says: a man from the future on assignment. Agreeing to help him by allowing him to live with and shadow her, she comes to enjoy his company and starts to grow quite fond of him. Will Rachel be prepared for what happens by her accepting his proposal? Will she regret letting him into her life when his assignment is over?

Kyle has been sent to a small-town library to research the life of one Rachel Brooks. If he wants to become the Elder is has always dreamed of becoming, he must complete the task of writing a study on everything that makes Rachel who she is. He understands what he needs to do: meet her, get her to agree, get her to let him live with her, and learn everything that makes her tick. When she agrees to help him, he is elated with excitement and gratitude for her. Piece by piece, he compiles his study and must come to terms with the fact that he has feelings for her. That is forbidden; Kyle is not matched and cannot be matched to someone other than who the Institute matches him with. But how does one not want to love Rachel when they know the kind and gentle person she is? Will he survive his case study and find what he needs to in order to please the Elders?

Crystal Inman has written a beautiful contemporary romance that shows that love knows no time restraints - it can happen at any time or place, but most of all where it is least expected. Rachel’s personality offers reader a tender, compassionate, and true friend. Readers will instantly love her. Kyle is a man that every woman will want; he cooks, cleans, runs to the rescue at the drop of a hat...did I mention that he's easy on the eyes as well? The author has done a tremendous job incorporating an array of emotions that immediately grab the reader and hold them until the last page. It is very rewarding to witness the passion between Kyle and Rachel and the struggles they endure because of it.

Perfect Timing is a wonderfully written story that has remarkable characters and a heartfelt plot with a few twists and turns along the way. I was continuously rooting for both Kyle and Rachel to have what they really want. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone looking for a tender romance filled with passion, personality, and secondary characters itching for a story of their own. With each turn of the page, readers will be left wondering how the story can get any better, only to be pleased to see that it does. Crystal Inman has done an outstanding job creating a sentimental romance sure to please anyone that loves a true love story. Perfect Timing is well worth the time it takes to read it and has earned 5 Angels!
