Shifter II: Dedrick’s Taming

Dedrick is within days of the full moon and his control is slowly slipping. He finds it more and more difficult to keep his “heat” in check. Upset that he must attend his brother’s party, he hopes to find some quiet time while there. Never did he realize that at that moment his control would be tested and his life forever changed. When he meets a friend of his sister-in-law’s, his body is met with a scent that he can not deny.
Jaclyn has come to see her dear friend, Sidney. When she is warned to stay away from the cranky and volatile Dedrick, she finds her curiosity is piqued even more. Offering to help him with his problem, she gets much more than she bargains for: a driven, dominant, and quite appetizing man. She now finds herself in the middle of something she does not understand and in more danger than she could imagine.

Jaden Sinclair has written a tremendous follow up story to Shifter: Stefan’s Mark. This story brings together two strong-willed characters who must fight to remain in control. Dedrick is truly an alpha male; he's unafraid of demanding what he wants and getting it also. Jaclyn goes after what she wants only to realize that she was not truly prepared for what she gets. The erotic chemistry between Dedrick and Jaclyn is wild and hot. Whether Dedrick is putting his foot down or Jaclyn’s stubborn streak is in full force, readers will be engrossed with humor and tantalizing passion. Will Dedrick find what he needs in Jaclyn? Will Jaclyn accept Dedrick and what he has done?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and plan to return to the first story in the series. I hope that the additional character of Skylar will eventually get a story of her own. I was immediately drawn in by the strength of Dedrick’s character and his feisty nature. Jaclyn's go get ’em attitude is a wonderful match for Dedrick’s dominant personality. Shifter II: Dedrick’s Taming is a definitely a book worth reading and one I will recommend to others. Jaden Sinclair has done an outstanding job writing a story well worth its 5 Angels rating!
