The Coming

Luke is in the process of restoring an old Victorian style home. Immediately after he arrives, Luke starts dreaming of a beautiful maiden. She visits him in his sleep and while he is awake. Trying to function in the midst of a ghost, he plans to start his day with the new inspector. Never in his wildest dreams could he envision exactly what that would entail. Will Pam approve of him and his ideas for the house or will his hopes and dreams come crashing down around him?

Pam arrives at the old home to complete her task of inspecting it. When the front door is opened, she is met by the man of her dreams: literally. Unprepared for seeing him, Pam finds herself having a difficult time focusing on what she must do. Can Pam get her job done without Luke learning her secret and the secrets of his new house?

Trixie Stilletto has provided readers with a short story to intrigue their paranormal side while also touching their hearts with a love that last the beyond time. Luke and Pam are instantly taken aback by the appearance of each other, but not how one might think. Readers will be pleased with the little surprises they encounter along the way. I was pleasantly surprised and immediately liked the characters. I found humor in the situation that they find themselves in. The author has done a wonderful job writing this story with two characters that find more than they bargain for or imagine could come from some bathroom pipes. The Coming is a touching short story that readers will take enjoyment in. Trixie Stilletto has earned herself 4 Angels for her hard work!
