The Witching Hour

What possibly could happen when a witch, a werewolf, and full moon all meet on one night? A lot does not begin to cover it.

Hazel is desperate to get just one spell right. She casts them all the time, but they never quite produce the results she intended them to. If that was not enough of a problem for her, her best friend opens her big mouth about a certain hunk in the building to non other than the hunk. Attending a Halloween party, they catch each others eye and the sparks start flying. Next thing Hazel knows, she has turned him into a dog and is being removed from her apartment. Could her day get any worse? Can she ever get her magic under control?

Drake is a werewolf protecting a girl that he was told is a witch although he doubts that claim. He has never seen her and had not planned on seeing her. When he burst into her apartment, he is taken by her spunky personality and petite frame. Realizing that he is drawn to her, he attends the party upstairs despite his better judgment. Finding himself turned into a dog, he realizes that maybe just maybe she is a witch. Is Drake prepared for what he finds in Hazel?

Marteeka Karland has created a story filled with humor and romance for a witch and werewolf. The character of Hazel is adorable. Readers will be drawn to her instantly. Drake is a strong alpha male that has is not quite prepared for the true Hazel. The chemistry between them is electric and explosive. The story is riddled with the humor of a witch that can’t quite get her spells right. I enjoyed watching this Halloween tale play out between Hazel and Drake. It was even more rewarding to witness Hazel’s first spell that came out the way it was supposed to even if she didn’t mean to do it. Readers will be left with a happy heart and big smile on their face from this story. The Witching Hour is a wonderful little paranormal romance of magic and giggles along the way. Marteeka Karland has done a tremendous job writing a story worth 5 Angels!
