On Eagle’s Wings

Eagle’s Wing enjoys being a business owner, especially the co-owner of a time traveling company in 2166. One big perk is being able to be a “Time Tourist” himself. This trip, Eagle decided to follow his heritage and be a Cheyenne brave in 1866 Wyoming.

What Eagle did not count on was running into Shannon Phillips. She was on her way to live with her Grandfather. Shannon needed to escape from an arranged marriage to an abusive fiancé.

Eagle came across Shannon just as the guide she had hired tried to rape her. Saving her was the only thing Eagle could think to do. He could not just stand by and watch it happen.

Unfortunately, Eagle had changed the past by saving Shannon from the rape. When calling back to 2166, Eagle found out that there were descendants from the pregnancy that occurred from the rape.

Now Eagle has to find a way to rectify what he has done and put the timeline back the way it was supposed to be. But the only way to do that would be to get Shannon pregnant. And Eagle would definitely NOT rape her to make things right.

Rebecca Goings has written a story that all romance lovers should read! The characters, surroundings and sexual energy in her words are so real, I felt like I was right there in the story.

I also enjoyed the blending of the Old West and science fiction. Ms. Goings created a believable, but complex scenario that Eagle and Shannon must confront.

This is one story that I am going to recommend to all my friends. It is a quick read that could be finished in a couple of commutes to work. But be careful! That man sitting next to you will feel your temperature rising as you are reading.
