A Legacy Through Time
Emma Samanda Sorenson is on a mission to unlock a mystery. After discovering a diary about her missing aunt, she sets out to find answers. The deserted Kinsman house seems to be what holds the key to the secret. She needs a place to live and this is just the spot. Upon arrival she meets the owner, Royal Kinsman, who tells her she may rent but she must never set foot in the Attic. He seems like a likeable man so she accepts his offer. Unfortunately, spiritual forces help her make the choice to venture to the doorway that will lead her to an unforgettable past while unlocking secrets.
Royal Kinsman carries a few secrets about the curse of the Kinsman Clan. He forbids marrying anyone to avoid the curse that befalls them since the Civil War. When he meets Emma and rents the house to her, he feels a strong attraction but is afraid to give into his feelings. When he forbids Emma to set foot into the Attic, certain spirits draw her into the room, where she opens an old trunk, only to be carried back in time. Now Royal must follow her and bring her back. When he finds her will he be able to finally confess his love for her? Can they find the key to bring them back to the present or is this the end for them?
A Legacy Through Time is a beautiful time travel romance like fine wine. The hilarious ghosts capture the story and make it a must read. I love a story that is combined with riddles, and a touch of merriment. The storyline had a keen plot making it a thoroughly engaging read. I loved the extraordinary characters of Royal and Emma and Emma’s dedication to see what happened to her aunt. Ms. Fritter has written a fascinating book with spirits that can give laughter one minute and chills the next. The ghosts are intriguing and the way she instills the journey back into time giving us a bit of history was wonderfully written. She even spiced the book giving the main characters a sizzle of chemistry flowing between them. This is a superb book that is absolutely marvelous!
