Mistaken Identity
When Katelyn Devereaux set out to take a vacation, she thought the secluded cottage would be the perfect spot to get away. She wanted to put Denver behind her as well as the man who wants her as his wife, not to mention the birth family who insists on finding her. She figured this would be the perfect getaway. That was before she set eyes on Seth Miller. In no time she is learning things that she does not want to know or does she? And when Seth awakens feelings in her heart, she can only wonder should she follow her heart.
Seth Miller is smitten with Katelyn. She reminds him of someone. His best friend’s wife has been searching for the twin sister who was adopted by strangers at birth and now that he has seen Katelyn, he realizes she’s the one. He cannot change the fact that Genean and Katelyn are sisters nor the way his heart reacts whenever he sees Katelyn, but he knows the truth has to be told. Will he lose the one woman that matters to him once the truth is revealed?
Mistaken Identity is a page-turner that I could not put down. I immediately fell in love with Seth and Katelyn, as well as the other characters in the story. The way Ms. Derr-Wille wrote the scene in which Katelyn played with varied emotions as she remembered growing up not belonging to a family had me feeling her sadness. All the feelings that the two main characters faced were very well written, drawing you into the scene. I especially loved the way Ms. Derr-Wille created the story line between Seth and Katelyn and how every time they saw each other they had this spine tingling reaction. The chemistry between the two characters really made the story, and finding real love for the first time – priceless. Ms. Derr-Wille indeed has a talent for crafting a story that draws readers completely into the story with every turn of the page. This is a very touching story of one woman trying to find her identity when faced with so many decisions in her life that need to be resolved. Seth and Katelyn really light up the pages thanks to Ms. Derr-Wille’s incredible writing of this book. My first by Ms. Derr-Wille, definitely not my last.
