The Crystal of Mynos

Mynos sets out to be with his mate, Malnan, when a loud scream is heard over the land. It is a screeching sound that Mynos knows so well. His beloved Crystal needs his help. Without the Crystal, King Timothy’s life is in jeopardy. He sets out with his other dragons to find who has stolen the Crystal and bring it back to the castle. It is a race against time as they try to find the one thing that will keep King Timothy living but what Mynos encounters is nothing he ever imagined.

The Crystal’s power is beyond magnitude and the battle is intense as scores of dragons die in the skies to rescue it. Mynos insists that his mate, Malnan, go home because he does not want to lose her in this bloodshed. She refuses to leave, thus making her one of the casualties, an image that Mynos has troubled removing from his mind. The scene is too devastating for Mynos and time is swiftly running out to possess the Crystal again. There is only one thing left to do and he has to make it work.

The Crystal of Mynos is a delight that will charm the soul. I immediately fell in love with the dragons. The story of Mynos and Malnan was so well written with his deep concern for her. The description of the scenery was truly breathtaking, and could be visualized with such clarity. The whole scene where the Crystal was released captivated me as I imagined every scene so vividly. So much intense drama, you cannot stop reading this story until the conclusion. The heart-wrenching scream uttered by Mynos in the scene with Malnan sent chills through me. There is heart-pounding excitement in this book. I am always at awe whenever I read a book by Rebecca Goings. She always gives great depth to her characters, no matter what genre she writes. An incredible must read that will have you screaming for more, Rebecca Goings really delivers with The Crystal of Mynos.
