The Nothing But Trouble Bride

Vi Olson is running away after leaving her abusive husband bleeding to death in their home. She travels to Wyoming to marry a man that she has never met. Upon hearing that the man has been killed, she must resort to other plans. There's always the brother, Matt Bullock. But is he willing to be the answer to her prayers and her heart? Women are nothing but trouble in his book. Yet when she finally confides in him, he realizes she is a perfect match for him. When they discover her husband is still alive, will Matt keep her or send her away?

The Nothing But Trouble Bride is a very entertaining page-turner. I loved the way Ms. Grey made the characters believable and how she included the secondary characters to make the story more complete. I really liked the way the author incorporated Vi’s sister into the story, as well as the sheriff. That made the story even more full of charm and spice. Vi really had her hands full throughout the story but I admired her zest. She lived through an abusive past but kept her spirit when she chose to enter a new life in a different home. The deal that Vi and Matt composed certainly gave the story line some pizzazz. This is my first book by Ms. Grey and I look for more of her refreshing books that gratify in every sense of the word.
