Jane Millionaire

Wearing jewelry from Tiffany’s, designer gowns straight from the runways of Paris and having twelve men at her beck and call is a dream come true for most women; for Jill Davidson it is an absolute nightmare. Her recently engaged sister decided that she simply could not go through with the starring role in the new reality television show Jane Millionaire so Jill, once again, must come to her rescue. For the next six weeks she is no longer a California policewoman, she is Princess Isabella Jane Strovanik and she is looking for her very own Prince Charming. The whole thing might not be so bad if she wasn’t already sure that she has found her prince in executive producer Rob Lancaster.

Rob is having a hard time believing that the “Jane” standing in front of him is the same woman that he saw in the audition tapes. This woman is not only more beautiful but is more vibrant and alive, not to mention so sexy that he will only need COLD water in his shower for the next six weeks. Not since his ex-wife, who taught him that women are not to be trusted, has he experienced such an immediate and overwhelming response to a woman. As much as he longs to throw the twelve bachelors out and claim this woman as his own, he cannot. His career and the career of an old and very dear friend hinges on making this show a success. Make it a success he will, but at what cost?

Janice Lynn, debut author and winner of the first American Title Contest, has created characters and a story that will capture your heart just as surely as a fairy tale. While I spent quite a bit of time wanting to wring Rob’s neck for being such a man, I absolutely fell in love with “Jane”. She’s feisty, confident and determined to make Rob admit his feelings for her and give them a chance. The story is well written, has a perfect balance of sweet and steamy and, just like reality television, has more than a few surprises between the covers. After reading this and visiting Ms. Lynn’s website and seeing the other story ideas that she has, I have no doubt that Janice Lynn is a name that will soon become a household name within the romance genre.
