Brides of Caralon: Master of Desire

Author Lacey Alexander is back with her second book in the Brides of Caralon series. Master of Desire is an amazing follow up to Rituals of Passion, but be warned; this book is definitely not for the faint of heart.

Teesia is the middle child of the powerful Enrick, Ruler of Caralon. She’s a curious young woman who wonders about her sexuality and the new feelings she has in her body. When she encounters Ralen of Charelton in a deserted corridor, she finally gets to experience some sexual intimacy and it enthralls her. Ralen enthralls her. Two years later when Teesia discovers she has been in marriage to Ralen, she is ecstatic. Teesia just knows their marriage will be a most blessed union because they already have a wonderful memory together, and of course, some very intense sexual chemistry.

Ralen however is not thrilled. In fact, he’s downright angry but there is no way he can turn down Teesia now. He made a promise to her father and he can’t break it. But Ralen has the sneaking suspicion that Teesia may not be the pure royal daughter she is purported to be. What should have been a wedding night of slow sexual intimacy, where he introduced her to the ways of love, has now turned into a punishment. Ralen can’t trust Teesia and he’s about to take his dark sexual urges out on her in a way that she never thought possible. He’s determined to make her rely on him and only him for her sexual pleasure, for her very existence and he’ll use whatever means possible to make it happen.

Passionate, outrageous, intense, and very erotic are just a few of the words that can be used to describe Lacey Alexander’s latest futuristic story. With a mixture of Dominant/submissive, sexual slavery, and plenty of other erotic escapades, Ralen and Teesia come to rely on each other for their very existence. Though very sexual in nature, as they come to better understand each other through the powers of lovemaking and through exploring their various sexual needs, a strong bond develops between them that will truly touch the reader. Their story is very forceful, sometimes even a bit violent in regards to their passions for each other, but it is nonetheless a powerful and truly evocative look at the dramatic and tension-filled emotion of love. A small warning, this story is filled with sex of all varieties: m/f, m/f/m, f/f, et cetera. It is a sexual story, but a story that uses sex to move the story along and to help Ralen and Teesia learn to trust and love each other. Kudos to Ms. Alexander for creating a tantalizing and fairly sinful story of love, lust and everything in between in an interesting futuristic setting.
