The Lusty Zilosecs Series: Volume 1

Laura Heller needs Colt Badman’s help. She wants to find out what happened to her younger brother in order to give her dying mother some peace in her final days. As a Zilosec, Colt has the ability to see events, to sense things. Unfortunately, Colt hates his gift. It gives him bad headaches every time he has to use his abilities and he’d rather just ignore his powers than put up with the problems that come with them. After much grousing on his part, he finally agrees to help Laura though. What ensues is more than either of them ever expected.

The first in The Lusty Zilosecs series, Colt sets up the powers of the Zilosecs and introduces Colt to the reader. He’s a bit of a bad boy, very sexy, and more than willing to show Laura who is boss. Their attraction is instantaneous and so much more than he bargained for. Emma Bruce does a great job of setting up the world and powers of the Zilosecs while also establishing just who these characters are. Colt was a quick read but a lot of fun and promises good things for the rest of the series. You won’t be let down if you give this story a chance.
