Fallen Gods 3: Embracing Temptation

While working for the Centauri Agency, Nikita Povlechic has been asked to do many things, but never did she dream that she'd be asked to go on a ghost hunt! Nikita has been sent to Iowa to be bait for a nest of demons. As any good agent does, she follows orders and is amazed when a man appears and offers to help her. Even more amazing is who he says he is.

The demons have gotten so excited that the Immortals have noticed. One in particular has decided to see what has happened. Imagine Ares' surprise when it ends up that a woman has excited them so. He finds himself meddling in mortal affairs and deciding to use his prowess to open her mind enough to understand what she's up against. An arrogant Immortal and a stubborn agent team up to rid the world of Julian Artos, a demon with power enough to become the new devil. Can they come to an agreement before he succeeds?

I seriously don't know why I even think about what rating to give Lorie O'Clare's books. I always end up giving her 5 Angels anyway. Once again Ms. O'Clare gives us an amazing world to live in for the length of this book. I found these characters to be truly amazing and real. Ares is so powerful and yet is able to humble himself for Nikita. Nikita is an awesome character. She understands the necessity of a good soldier following orders, yet also understands the importance of listening to your gut feelings. I was very happy to review another of Ms. O'Clare's books, I can only hope that there are many more to come!
