Purrfect Justice

Haley Yates came dressed as Catwoman to the Police Officers’ Halloween party, hoping that the ultra-sexy costume would get the attention of gorgeous Lieutenant Cole Fisher. Haley has been in love with Cole for the last 3 years but he has never noticed her as the secretary at police headquarters. So when Haley finally gets a chance to seduce Cole at the party she pounces on her only chance to be this close to him. She is disappointed when Cole is called away, cutting their only night together short, but realizes that she will always have her memories of their time together and hopes that will be enough. On the drive home, Haley hears a call on her police scanner of an officer down and realizing that Cole is in trouble, knows she has to help him.

Lieutenant Cole Fisher is still reeling from his erotic encounter with the mysterious Catwoman when he’s called away, only to land in a standoff with his partner down, from a gunshot wound, and his masked, fiery, dream lover coming to his rescue. Cole wanted to know the name of the magnificent woman who saved him. He was grateful for the help but knew he would never live down being rescued by a superhero, from the guys at work, and wondered if his feisty Catwoman was a fantasy come to life or a nightmare just beginning.

Purrfect Justice is a wonderful book full of excitement, danger and romance. A strong heroine with the perfect mix of strength and vulnerability, a hero that has the same, and a few nutty side characters make this story an absolute delight. Haley and Cole have great chemistry and there are lots of hot and steamy love scenes to prove it. Author Ashley Ladd has created a fantastic read that will have you laughing out loud and wishing for more of these unforgettable characters.
