Cassie Prescott desperately needs Nathan Warner’s help to in order to be able to open her pastry shop. In order to receive an inheritance, she must either marry or wait until her thirtieth birthday. Layne Blacque’s Liquid Assets is an intriguing book that will grab you from the beginning. The intense emotional and physical chemistry between Nathan and Cassie binds them forever together. Ms. Blacque has created two charged individuals that are frightened by their need for the other. In addition, there’s a little bit of information that not only shocks Nathan and it will shock you too! I enjoyed how both Nathan and Cassie have to accept their own weaknesses in order to receive the love that is waiting for them.
