Victoria is married to a man who constantly abuses her. Even though Neil was her college sweetheart, he has issues. Issues so significant, that he takes them out on his wife by beating her almost to death. As she feels her life slipping away, she hears the voice of a man who is drawing her to him.

Victoria wakes up in ancient Egypt with Khaemet who believes she is his wife coming back from the dead! As Victoria heals in this woman’s body, Khaemet realizes it is not his vain wife’s soul anymore, but someone who attracts him even more. Can the two find love or will the past and Khaemet’s dead wife stand between them?

While with no highly explicit scenes, Egyptian Nights is a book worthy of a look as it tempts and teases you into reading paper after page. Riveting and entertaining, the characters come alive right before your very eyes, making this one book I had a hard time saying goodbye to. This is such a good book that I will be picking it up to read again and again. Since the steamy scenes are played out in your mind and not in the book, it captures your mind, imagination and emotions.

Victoria and Khaemet’s feelings for each other were so strong that I was rooting for them to survive the upheavals that they faced. Khaemet shows Victoria what it is like to be a pampered woman and for that I want to thank him. I think all the battered woman of the world should read this book so they might realize that there are some great men out there and perhaps it might even renew their faith in men.
