But, worse than that even, he doesn't just want her dead; he wants to make sure that he can profit off her writing. Will Julaina just be another statistic, a woman murdered for greed or will Raiden save her in time?

Love Like Blood by JJ Massa gives you a look into the dark side of the little quirks and curves that life throws us. Juliana, while physically disabled, is more of a person than most people without disabilities as she takes life’s burdens on her shoulders, deals with them and makes them become positive. This was not only uplifting and enticing, bit I was also so engrossed in the story that I felt as if I was Juliana and was experiencing all that she felt.

We all can relate to Juliana, as each of us strives to make the best out of a worst-case scenario. Strong family values, love and the story line made me sit up and take notice of how well-written Love Like Blood really is. I enjoyed this book thoroughly, and will be getting more JJ Massa books!
