Saving Allegheny Green

Allegheny “Ally” Green, the local nurse, is the strong woman who gets into anything and everything to prevent a catastrophe with her dysfunctional family and keep them together. Local Sheriff Sam Conahegg is the man would step in to save her day, if only she would let him. From her sister who shoots her boyfriend after she finds out he is married, to her Aunt who gives readings to the local people, life is on a downhill roll for Ally as she tries to hold it all together.

As things heat up for Ally and Sam, so do the events as they escalate into something that will make life confusing for both of them. Who is murdering all of Ally’s sister’s boy friends? Can you guess the who the murderer is?

I thought that I had it all figured out, but was so off base that I was surprised, even as I realized what a great book this is! It holds you from page one to the end, and keeps you guessing all the while. It wasn't just entertaining, but was so enticing that I cannot wait for another Lori Wilde book!

This book's got everything from dysfunctional family members, suspense, mayhem, murder and of course the romance that grips you into realizing what a treasure you have in this tale. It piques your interest as you are trying to figure out who did it, and even though I had it all wrong, I was oh-so-pleased with the ending. While the story is a romance, it has all that you could ever want in a book, so make sure Saving Allegheny Green is on your list!
