Amelia Gallant

She's an adventurer and an author in that order. She can't keep assistants but she can find the treasures. After going to find the "triese lea", the future gift, she has a vision of a man whose face she knows will be imprinted forever on her brain. The Hyyah doesn't want her to leave their planet with this gift as it is sacred to them, but after two weeks of not being able to retrieve it from her mind they have to let her go. After talking with her publisher Max, who had given her yet another assistant, she heads to her home planet to write her book and recuperate. The book is written and on its way to Max, Amelia heads off to find the Khun artifact only to find another adventure with Denali, the man from her vision.

Denali is a security officer protecting an artifact that needed to get to Delta 7, only others were trying to take it from him before it could get there. While onboard the ship, they are attacked and taken prisoner. He just knew she was trouble when she first boarded the ship.

If you liked Indiana Jones, you're going to love this book. It has adventure, romance and intrigue. I couldn't put it down. Joyce and Jim Lavene have written a story that will grab you from the first word until the last. You'll be telling your friends and family and anyone else who'll listen to run and get this book. I wish I could go to Mr. & Mrs. Lavene's future, it is remarkable. Their descriptions of the planets is so believable that you know that when we finally get to space travel, that is what the astronauts will see. The interaction between not only these two characters, but all of them, is both witty and intense. 5 Angels
