In a novel where hope springs eternal from flowing verse and strong characterization, Terry Weide has created a fascinating, believable universe with characters who will live in your imagination long after you put the book aside.

Cassandra, so beautiful, so powerful, so distant. Eric Leafstone, young, full of righteous indignation and determination. An odd pair? Not really. Terry Weide has created a magnificent world of flowing imagery and captivating characters that suck the reader in from the very first page to the last, weaving a spell around the readers mind, enthralling the reader with action and adventure of the grandest scale. Incredibly crafted this story delicately blends imagination, fantasy and the hopes of a nation into one tale.

For fantasy readers, of Dream of Power, Dream of Glory is not a tale to miss. It’s beautifully written, well told, and the story itself is so engrossing the reader loses him/herself. A definite top pick. I wish I could offer more than a mere five angels! For this reason, I offer of Dream of Power, Dream of Gloryas a Recommended Read. I also say this is definitely worth the trade paperback. You will want to read it again.
