Once in a Lifetime

Canadian Mountie Brett Sinclair was off duty, but he couldn’t leave the car on the side of the road, especially when there was a sleeping woman inside of the car. He then did what any courteous Mountie would do; he took her home for the night.

When Tara Morgan awoke the next day she knew that she had to get out of the house and out of Brett's life as quickly as possible, but Brett wasn't about to let her go until he got all of his questions answered. Like why was she in the country and why wasn't she with her son?

To Tara's thinking they're questions better left unanswered, but Brett isn't about to stop until he gets them answered. She just hopes he doesn’t live to regret his decision!

I thought that Chevon Gael brought an interesting mix together in this story. Once in a lifetime brings together a mismatched pair and shows how they slowly fall in love. Brett's character was a bit overbearing, but that just goes to show how much he cares about Tara and doesn’t want her to get hurt. I almost cried when he locked her up overnight to keep her from saving her son. Brett goes into the potentially dangerous situation himself and hopefully Tara will forgive him.

All in all, this was a good read. If you’re looking for a great romance story with a little steam, then this is the one for you!
