Dark Savior

Dark Savior is set in the 1920’s, an era of prohibition, gangsters, and speakeasies. Foster Taylor, self made hotel mogul, leaves New York and his latest mistress Ashley behind to open his newest hotel in Colorado. The split is amicable to both as neither claimed to be in love. On Taylor's part, since losing his love Lynette and the unborn baby she carried to a brutal attack, Taylor only gives the women in his life loving, but never his true love. One day while looking for a present for his latest mistress, he enters a shop in his very hotel to find the shopkeeper seems to be none other than Ashley herself, or is it?

The beautiful shopkeeper claims to be named Brooke, that she does not know who he is, and has lived in Colorado all her life. She is frightened and yet attracted to the devilishly handsome strange man claiming to have known her before - intimately. But the danger to his former paramours that followed Foster to New York from Florida, seems to have now come to Colorado. If Brooke gets close to Foster will she become the next target?

Dark Savior is a timeless romance with a touch of intrigue and mystery. This story is set in 1920 America but could easily have taken place more recently. The characters are full and well formed people you would like to meet and get to know better. Brooke is a smart, determined young woman running her own business and taking care of herself in an age when women were just beginning to assert their independence. With its colorful imagery and beautiful love story, Dark Savior is a story to be savored and remembered.
