Descendants of Darkness Book III: Leonardo

Who would have thought it? A vampire slayer and a vampire falling in love, what a pickle Erin and Leonardo find themselves in.

Erin O’Connell has been bent on revenge towards all vampires since witnessing her entire family being slaughtered by one as a child. Erin is a damned good vampire slayer and knows she’s close to finding the very vampire that killed her family. What Erin doesn’t realize is there are good vampires and bad ones, but she’s about to find out.

Leonardo has just found his life-mate, why oh why does she have to be the vampire slayer that’s been killing off his kind. He is attracted to Erin and finally understands that connection he’s witnessed amongst his relatives and friends: those who’ve found their mates.

Setting a trap to kill Leonardo, Erin finds herself ensnared in a trap herself, a trap of lust and attraction that she’s powerless to deny. Leonardo respects his life-mate, for she is tough. Together they can slay the vampires that have gone over to the dark side, as well as the slayers who kill all vampires, with no regards to good or evil. Before these two can live together in harmony, they have one order of business to take care of. In order to be with Leonardo forever, Erin must make a decision that goes against all she’s been taught about vampires.

Descendants of Darkness III: Leonardo is a part of an ongoing series by Ms. LaCroix and although Descendants of Darkness III: Leonardocan stand alone you should treat yourself to all of the previous books about this family of vampires. There is a lot of story in this steamy short read that you’ll not want to miss. We get to catch up on the other characters from previous books and read about others, whom I’m sure will be getting their own books in the future. I’m looking forward to reading more of these vamp’s and their quest to find a life-mate. Based on the ending, Raife will be next hunky vamp to find his true love.
