Exiled

Exiled is the story of Danica Hearn, an office manager from Earth, whose career is going well, but still feels that good old biological clock beginning to tick away. At the age of 28 she decides it’s time to fulfill the other half of her grand plan in life – a husband and two point five kids. Deciding that the only way she’s going to meet an even halfway decent prospect, she sets out on a whirlwind tour of various things to become a “Sport’s Gal” and what she believes is every Earth male’s ultimate girl.

Little does she know that an end of class scuba diving trip is going to change her life forever…

Abducted by aliens as a “specimen” for their amusement she is summarily dumped off by the “sky gods” onto a planet ruled by evil Priests that know all and see all. It is only after being captured by a Head Chieftain that she comes to realize how much she ever took for granted.

But she adapts…coming into her own not only as a human being, but as a woman under the watchful rule of Taj, the Chieftain that has claimed her for his own.

But who has claimed who? Is Taj willing to go against the all powerful Priests in order to claim her as more than a slave? Or will he simply keep her as a slave in his house once he marries the woman the Priests have chosen for him?

From the beginning this story had me on the edge of my seat. Danica must overcome so much…the loss of her home…her lifestyle…everything she’s ever taken for granted is lost to her once she’s dumped on this backward planet. But through the journey she’s unwittingly thrown into I watched her truly come into her own…not simply as a character, but as someone I could identify with.

In Taj she finds security, comfort and even though it is forbidden for either of them to act upon the hot, sexual, primal desires they feel toward one another…that doesn’t stop them from trying and falling in love.

Kaitlyn O’Connor spins a wonderful tale of mystery, mayhem, intrigue, sexual tension and love that will grab you from the beginning and never let go. Aside from a few small editing goofs, that never once distract from the overall web of fantasy, Kaitlyn draws you into, I am more than happy to give this my first ever FIVE FULL angels, and gladly proclaim this as a Recommend Read. If you love a good romance, with sexual attraction and deprivation that will leave you panting then go…grab this story up and sink into the world of the Exiled.
