Anna Rose Brooks is a market girl; she meets Rein, feels sorry for him and offers him shelter for one night. She senses something not right with Rein, can she trust him? Rein tells Anna Rose the details of his uncles will. He needs to live without his wealth for 30 days, or he will become penniless. She, of course does not believe him, he in turns falls in love with Anna Rose and he suggests she become his mistress for 30 days, and if she consents she will be well taken care of. Should she? Or is this handsome man trying to pull the wool over her eyes?

I loved Anna Rose, she was a gem, she was on her own, but did not let anyone walk all over her. Rein was put in a tough place, and tried to make the most of it, he just did not count on falling in love with a market girl!

It was a very fast paced read, very enjoyable, and funny in some spots. Highly recommended.
