Wanted: Kept Woman
Brian Armstrong wants a woman who is willing to submit to his more domineering personality. For some reason, all the women he ends up dating are all wrong for him. He needs someone who is softer, more submissive, but he’s fed up with trying to find this woman in today’s dating scene. His secretary comes up with a scheme to help him find the perfect woman though. It involves placing an ad in the newspaper that simply says Wanted: Kept Woman for wealthy businessman.
When Suzanne Montgomery sees the ad in the newspaper for a kept woman, she is very intrigued. She decides to call the number and fill out the application, just to see what happens. She never even thought that the mystery man would like her application and ask her to go onto the next step of the process. She is even more stunned when she finds out her beautiful best friend, who also applied, didn’t make the cut! When they finally meet, Brian and Suzanne feel an undeniable chemistry with each other. Brian can’t help but feel that this is the woman he has been searching for. Suzanne is amazed that such a handsome and rich man would ever be interested in her. They decide to get to know each other better and as they spend more and more time together, Brian and Suzanne know that this could be the beginning of the best relationship they’ve ever had.
Unfortunately there’s someone who doesn’t want to see Suzanne so happy. Suzanne’s ex-husband Sam is out of jail and determined to pay Suzanne back for sending him there. He’s determined to destroy any and all happiness she finds.
Wanted: Kept Woman was a very good read! The methods Brian used to meet Suzanne may seem a little unorthodox at first, but I think you’ll come to realize that it isn’t any different than a dating agency or any of the other wacky methods available to meet people today. Brian thought he wanted someone who would be very accommodating for him, someone that would almost bow down to his demands, but he quickly realizes that what he wants is an equal partner, someone to laugh with, and someone to love. Suzanne can’t believe how lucky she is to meet Brian. He’s smart, sexy, and a little adventurous. Their attraction leaps off the pages and keeps the reader anxious to find out what happens. The addition of Suzanne’s ex-husband Sam, who though he is a jerk, keeps the suspense high for an already great story as he tries to get revenge against Suzanne. J.W. McKenna has crafted a wonderful read.
