Mountain’s Captive is based on the “mistaken identity” storyline. It works as the two protagonists are drawn into a physical and emotional relationship. Of course, it helps immeasurably as both lead characters are extremely likable and comes across as normal human beings. They both have their faults but are able to overcome them. Chloe is a warm, sensual, intelligent and loyal woman. She feels responsible for the many employees of her father’s company thus she must marry Paul to inherit it. She is willing to put aside her personal desires to accomplish this goal. Everest is an upstanding hero. He tries to put aside his feelings for Chloe when he finds out she is engaged to another man. He is the kind of man any parent would want for their daughter. He is gentle yet so very sexy!! Chloe and Everett are sizzling hot together!!! The reader can feel the sexual tension emanating between the two as they try to fight their desires and when they give in to them!!!

Mountain’s Captive was a highly erotic story with enough romance to warm your heart. With two memorable characters and a quickly paced storyline, this is one book you will not forget easily!
