She encounters Master Xiturias who will assists her in her search. Xiturias is a powerful psychic and he becomes obsessed with Mauren. Will Mauren be able to find Kier? Or is she destined to be with Xiturias instead?

At first, Mauren is taken aback by the man in her dreams. She quickly accepts him into her life and looks forward to seeing him nightly. She falls in love with him and the feelings are mutual. Mauren comes across as a fairly naļve girl who trusts easily. Mauren is thoroughly thrilled with finding the love of her life even if he appears only in her dreams. Kier is an ideal hero. He is brave, witty and handsome. He also falls in love with Mauren. They look forward to their visits and when they will physically see each other. Kier’s disappearance strikes terror in her as she feels bereft without him. Her search for Kier brings her into contact with Xiturias. Xiturias becomes enamored with Mauren and decides he wants her for himself. Xiturias is a powerful character and the author has provided great depth to his characterization.

Souls’ Embrace is an enchanting love story which poses many questions. Can two soul mates find each other through space and time? Can they fall in love without physically meeting? Can a woman resist powerful magic to stay true to her soul mate? Souls’ Embrace has likable characters and a strong storyline. The dialogue between Mauren and Kier is just lovely. Heck, I could see how she could fall in love with him even without laying eyes on him. Souls’ Embrace is a highly sensual book. The erotic tension permeates through it. Not having read any of Ms. Laurence’s previous works, Souls’ Embrace was a great introduction to her works. This reader will definitely keep an eye out for her books.
