B.O.B.’s Fall

Fatally wounded by an assassin's bullet, "Mac" MacDougal knows he is dying. His sister, Amareth believes she can save his life. Amareth decides to use one of their company's new products to save his life, B.O.B. - Battery Operated Boyfriend, a cybernetic creation to please and for pleasure. MacDougal awakens but he has amnesia. His only clear thoughts are of Elyiana Richards. MacDougal thinks he and Elyiana are involved due to the erotic images of them together that keep popping up. He knows he must find her and find out who he is and why he is being chased.

Elyiana Richards is a popular romance author. MacDougal has repeatedly criticized her and her books. After finding his sister's secret stash of romance novels, he contacts Elyiana and her publisher. MacDougal informs her that she has a delusional expectation of men and is giving the women who read her books warped expectations of men. This begins their battle of wills. While the two have never met, Elyiana has seen MacDougal. She starts to pattern her heroes after him. Elyiana's fantasies also start to revolve around MacDougal. When a gorgeous Alpha male climbs through her window, Elyiana is blown away by her instant sexual attraction to him.

Lora Leigh and Veronica Chadwick have created wonderful characters in B.O.B.'s Fall. The sexual chemistry between Elyiana and MacDougal is electric. The combination of mystery, romance and sex is outstanding. The secondary characters also stand out. I hope that Amareth, Teal and Jamie will pop up in later books by the pair.
