Layover

Kira Allen and Jack Grayson have been friends for years. Other than one random kiss, they have never had any inclination to cross that invisible line, to become lovers. When Kira decides to settle down, she finds that Jack’s interference with her love life is wreaking havoc on her sex-life and long term plans. Now that they are working together as pilots, his interference is even more apparent. Layover is a simple tale of friendship that takes a detour. Ann Wesley Hardin crafts fun, distinct repartee between her characters that will have readers laughing at their barbs. Jack’s overprotective interfering is purely male. Jack and Kira’s friendship is unrivalled by any another relationship they have and yet Kira wants more. She wants it all. The recognition of what lies within their hearts was gradual and enjoyable. The passion between them is hot and well written. The bumps along the way give way to a love that is enduring and romantic. Readers will enjoy how the story focuses primarily on them. The plot moves along at a comfortable pace with plenty of humor to keep the story light and fun. The story culminates in stellar romantic style.
