God of the Grim

For the past year, Dr. Matthew Winter has been on the run from the Network, a group of law-enforcement vampires, because he rescued a child vampire who was being secretly tortured and experimented on by his boss, a mad vampire. Matthew was forced to leave his wife, Dulcie, and his highly regarded career to live in the underworld of New York as a street fighter to make ends meet. Still true to his nature, Matthew opened a clinic in the underworld to assist the sick, in need, that had little or no money. Unforeseen circumstances forced Matthew to return home to face his accused charges. Now, Matthew is facing a life or death situation. Will he and his family be able to convince the vampire council that Matthew has been falsely accused before it is too late?

God of the Grim is a fantastic example of how a perceived good deed can change a man’s life forever. One minute life is great, then in the next instance life is on a downward spiral only to hit rock bottom. Because Matthew decided to end the savage torment of a vampire child, he was forced to leave life as he knew it and to be on the run from the law. Readers will experience his hardship as Matthew struggles with his new life all while tying clear his name so he can return to his beloved wife, Dulcie. Once Matthew and Dulcie are reunited, the scenes between them are sensual, explicit and very passionate. Overall, I found this story to be very fascinating and enjoyable.
