Tasherytakhet is an enchantress, dancer, priestess, and guardian for Bast. Chosen by High Priestess Akhet to serve Bast, Tashery loves her life; however, she refuses to accept the Goddess’ visions and images of Lord Sennefer, the High Priest of Set. How could Bast desire her union with the High Priest of Set? Sennefer and his God Set are feared by the common people whom Bast protects. Bast would not desire her to know him intimately. Would she?

Lord Sennefer serves and loves Set along with Bast. He recognizes Tashery is his destiny; moreover, he enthusiastically and ardently seeks her out through daily visits to Bast’s Temple with luxurious and expensive gifts. All at once, he is summoned from his comfy bed to roam the streets in anticipation of Tashery’s arrival and acceptance of her fate. Will he be able to convince her of their destiny? Or will he be left alone on the street?

Daughter of Shadows: Tasherytakhet is an erotic, sultry journey into the heart of a Goddess and her priestess. Sometimes what we dread holds the key to our most intense and bold fantasies. Tabitha Bradley cleverly and deftly reveals the heart and soul of Tashery as she discerns that shadows dwell in everyone. I hope that Tabitha Bradley writes another tale about Tashery and Sennefer. Despite the outside distractions, I could not put Daughter of Shadows: Tasherytakhet down.
