Nuworld: All For One

In Lorie O’Clare’s All For One, it has been 13 winters since the Lunian War and Tara’s daughter is restless and craving to explore Nuworld.

Ana and Andru share everything. Though Ana battles their parent’s control, she willingly obeys Andru’s requests. Half-Runner but raised in Gothman, Andru naturally watches over and shelters his twin sister. However; he must allow Ana the adventure she yearns for, as part of their Runner heritage, or he will lose her trust and confidence. Will Andru be able to protect Ana while permitting her escapades?

Tara knows Ana is eager to begin her age of searching, but she is just 16 winters old and needs a few more years experience before she heads off. Without warning an unfamiliar nation, known as the Tree People, arrive in Gothman requesting an alliance with the Gothman and Runner Nations. Tara is leery and suspicious; particularly when she discovers that a Tree Person named Roth is secretly wooing Ana, while his brother visits Gothman.

Ana flees Gothman to be with Roth without informing Andru. A search party is dispatched to the Tree People’s Nation to locate Ana. Instead a 13-year-old secret is exposed and Tara must confront her past before peace will return.

All For One continues the saga of Tara and Darius interwoven with Ana’s fight for independence and freedom of choice. Tara and Darius wish to curb her liberty, except if they don’t let her go, they may lose her for good. Lorie O’Clare cleverly depicts Ana’s longing for Roth as well as her parents’ need and wish to safeguard and shelter her.

Lorie O’Clare’s Nuworld series is a sultry, passionate tale of betrayal and healing when one family remembers that peace is found through unity. She also deftly reveals how pride and vengeance will bring devastation and heartache until forgiveness and acceptance are realized. Like the previous Nuworld novels, I was unable to stop reading until the dramatic finale. I cannot wait to read further stories of Tara, Darius, Andru, Ana, and the Gothman and Runners of Nuworld.
