EZ Lovin’

Ezekiel Zachariah McAllister works for the U.S. Customs trying to break an art smuggling ring. Known to his friends as EZ, he is not happy when he learns his boss, Justin, has arranged to conduct this undercover stakeout with a civilian. When he meets the infamous Abigail, he is immediately drawn to her feisty personality and beautiful body. Being the top-notch professional that he is, he is under the impression that he can keep that instant chemistry under control and do his job. He is sadly mistaken.

Abigail Fairfax is the owner of the newest art gallery in Boston. A dear old friend, Justin, enlists her help with a stakeout. She has many connections in the art world and can help the U.S. Customs team gain access and information. Little did she know by agreeing to help that she would be working so closely with EZ. She is taken aback the moment he walks into her apartment by his strong presence and amazing body; he is all cowboy, a true Texan. Abigail has no idea why he instantly gets under her skin and leaves her breathless.

When Abigail and EZ masquerade as new lovers, they find in difficult to keep the keep the masquerade separate from personal emotions. Their masquerade lands them in unfamiliar water in the midst of something that they totally didn’t expect. If either of them would have known what they got themselves into, would they have agreed to the stakeout and the masquerade?

Elaine Charton has done an amazing job creating a story that bring two characters from two totally different worlds together only to find that they are instantly in awe of each other. EZ is a gentleman that cares deeply about the ones he loves, but has a tendency to be a tad bit jealous. Readers will enjoy his commitment. Abigail strives to prove to everyone that she can stand on her own two feet even though almost everyone around hers tries to tell her how to do it. Both EZ and Abigail struggle with the physical connection between them and the memories that haunt EZ. When EZ and Abigail’s worlds collide, it is one of heartfelt passion, frustrations, and roller coaster emotions. Will EZ learn to trust someone again? Can Abigail forgive a stubborn, old cowboy?

EZ Lovin’ is a story that had me mesmerized from the start. The character of EZ touched a special place in my heart as I am from Texas and married to one of the stubborn old cowboys that live here. Abigail is something new and refreshing for a cowboy and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the story play out between them. The tender romance between EZ and Abigail is touching and heartfelt: something you dream about. Elaine Charton has done an outstanding job writing a romance that readers will love spending time engrossed in and earned 5 Angels and a Recommended Read for it!
