Julie is a woman who has reached the point that she can give up her body to pleasure, but has not quite yet decided if she can give up her heart. After the death of her fiancé, she is left devastated and alone. She does not want another man in her life and definitely not another cop. She will never again love a cop as it would be too painful to lose him.

Colin is a bold Scotsman who just also happens to be a cop. He has also wanted Julie for quite some time. He has decided that it is the time to make his desires known and have what he wants.

When Julie finds herself stranded at a remote cottage with Colin, she seizes the opportunity to fulfill her wish for passion. Unfortunately for Julie, Colin wants more and Julie’s heart does too. Regrettably for Colin, Julie doesn’t want to love a copy and Colin just happens to be one. Will Julie give in to her body and her heart’s desire? Can Colin tell Julie his secret of being a cop? Will Julie forgive him if he doesn’t or accept him if he does?

Chevon Gail has created a delightful and passionate romance for readers. This story is filled with strong physical chemistry between two very different characters. Colin is a compassionate and strong man, but finds himself struggling to be totally honest. Julie is riddled with desire for Colin and the fear of being loved again. Both of them are beautifully written and draw the readers into each of their emotions. Colin and Julie find themselves in the midst of the beautiful Canadian countryside with someone that is even more intriguing. Will they be able to enjoy all the breathtaking surroundings the cottage has to offer?

Ecstasy is a wonderful story of romance and second chances. I was captivated by the exotic personality and depth of Colin. I was right along side Julie in being putty in his hands when he spoke. I found myself hoping Julie could just let go and love Colin immediately. It was very touching to watch each of them struggle with forgiving themselves in order to love someone. The physical chemistry between them was hot, sizzling, unadulterated passion. Chevon Gail has done a wonderful job and earned 5 Angels in the process!
