Sedonia Guillone has offered readers a great story demonstrating the grief a person can live in each day not realizing that grief is slowly suffocating their will to live. The characters are both touching and passionate. Aubrey has lost what he loves only to be affected by the African plains in a way no one can explain. Serena is a woman trying to return to life by finally setting out to honor her promises. The instantaneous physical connection between the two of them is sizzling even before they know it. Will Aubrey free himself from his darkest secrets? Can Serena make good on all of her promises? Will Aubrey and Serena be able to heal the pain and heartache they have endured?

This book is a quick read, but well worth it. The sizzling desire the characters hold for each other will immediately draw the reader into the story. The situations that Aubrey and Serena have been plagued with provide a wonderful backdrop for the rest of the story to evolve and left me breathless. The Lion’s Lover provides readers with enough erotic romance to keep you glued to your seat along with the kind of romance you hope you find. Sedonia Guillone has done a superb job at earning herself 4 Angels!
